Dr Ravinder Singh said that we are expecting a very good response from dog lovers. The 3rd edition of Panchkula Dog Show is happening after the trauma we all suffered due to Covid-19. We hope to see a good number of canine lovers thronging the venue on November 14.
While the show will provide a platform for different dog owners to showcase their pets who will be judged on different aspects, visitors will get the opportunity to interact with established canine experts and dog breeders during the dog show. All Covid-19 precautions will be followed during the show, informed the organisers.
The other highlights of Panchkula Dog Show will include a street dog adoption project; awareness camps for society; anti-rabies and free vaccine camp by the government hospital, & tips to raise pets and importance of having them among others. Talking about Rottweiler, which is the 4th most popular breed in the world as per FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale), Sikander Singh said the breed has gained popularity because of its loyalty, and macho looks but sadly a fallacy associated with the breed is that it's aggressive, vicious and not safe to keep.
Sikander added that he appealed to the public in general and dog lovers in particular to come to the show and witness the breed and interact with breeders so that misunderstandings about this lovely and homely breed can be put to rest.
The judge of the show is Ranjeet Singh Munjal from Kanpur.
