Chandigarh Feb. 03, 2021:- To inspire more youngsters to pursue blogging as a full-time profession, a city-based renowned YouTuber, Rishi Arora conducted a live workshop on his YouTube channel 'Rishi Arora'.  Rishi Arora has Hindi YouTube channels 'Be Ghent' & Rishi Arora which are focused on men's fashion, lifestyle, and on subjects that are of interest to youngsters. As many as 5189 budding bloggers & video content creators across the country participated in the 45-minute online workshop and learnt the finer nuances of blogging.

During the interactive session, Rishi suggested the enthusiastic online content creators to be unique in choosing their content and not to worry about the outcome. Revealing the secrets of blogging, Rishi said that one should first believe in his or her idea and not copy those who are already successful and good at it. As every individual has his or her own strengths and weaknesses, one should find one's strength and build upon it.

Rishi said that the main motive of organizing the live workshop was to inspire and give the right direction to the budding content creators. In the digital era, it is evident that social media and content sharing platforms are gaining huge popularity among youngsters. Now people look at it as a serious profession and want to make their own careers in this space.

He added that when it comes to choosing a profession, parents play a key role in it. Parents mostly rely on the conventional professions and want to make their kids doctors, engineers, or even cricketers. But the digital world has changed this trend by unlocking the doors of opportunities for creative people, and today's youth looks at online content creation mainly in the video space, as a good & respectable career.

On being asked by a participant what equipment one needs to get started, Rishi replied that there is no need for expensive cameras and fancy studios to start a blog. Anyone can start his or her own channel with limited resources on a low budget at the initial stage. And the type of equipment which is required includes a camera, microphone, and computer or laptop for editing.

For Rishi making his own space as a YouTuber was no cakewalk. A middle-class boy from Ferozepur in Punjab, Rishi had initially worked as a cashier and dishwasher at a McDonald's drive-through. He also dabbled in many small-time jobs before canvassing his dream into reality. Initially, he struggled a lot to find his own niche. He started back to back four YouTube channels, which did not work. But, he didn't give in and rose like a phoenix to establish a unique startup idea in the men's fashion blogging space 'Be Ghent' & 'Rishi Arora'.
