Chandigarh 11th January:- The Winter Workshop organized by the ALLEN Pre Nurture and career foundation department (PNCF) concluded on Sunday at its Industrial Area Phase-2, Chandigarh campus. The innovative workshop was organized from 5th January to 10th January for 6th to 9th class Students of Tricity.
The Aim of the Workshop was to enhance knowledge of students in Geography, sharpen their skills in English & raise their level in Mental Aptitude Testing. Students were given Comprehensive Study Material and special Doubt Sessions with renowned Faculties.
The Workshop was concluded with a special Prize Distribution ceremony for the top performers of the Workshop in various subjects. In the presence of the parents, approximately 70 students were honored by Pushkar Rai, Center Head, Allen Career Institute. He motivated these students with his exemplary examples and made them aware about futuristic Competitions. He also shared in-hand experience of past students and told everyone present, How Allen is working on benefit of Academic Excellence of students without letting their mental peace being disturbed and enjoying whatever they are studying.
Top Performers of all the competitions during the Winter Workshop were awarded by Center Head Pushkar Rai and other Faculty Members of IIT-JEE, Medical and PNCF Division. Every participant of the Workshop was also awarded with Participation Certificate at the event.
According to Ankur Tripathi (event coordinator) through this workshop, students learned about various Geographical concepts of all continents and memorized extremes of every continent. Special Tips and Tricks were given to solve Mental Ability Questions. Special assignments on various mathematical games like Ka-Ku-Ro, INKY Puzzles, Bridges and Secret Trail were enjoyed by the participants. Students of class 6th & 7th were trained on improving their Reading, Writing and Speaking Skills on English, while for students of Class 8th & 9th, a SPELL BEE Competition was organized.
A Competitive and Academic Planning Session (CAPS) was taken by the the Mentor of PNCF and Senior Chemistry Faculty Sadanand Wani, who informed about various competitive exams for students of classes 6th to 9th. He laid stress on the need of an early start to prepare for any competitive exams. He explained methods in daily practice for an average student which can turn fate into fortune.
