Lohia Auto Participates in FAME India Eco Drive

Chandigarh 07th December:- Lohia Auto Industries, today participated in FAME India Eco Drive which is aimed at promoting conservation of energy and environmental benefits under the ambitious national scheme on "Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid & Electronic Vehicles" (FAME) India. Vijay Kumar Dev, Advisor to Governor Chandigarh UT today flagged off the drive from Rock Garden which was culminated at ISB, Mohali, Around 10 two wheelers and 1 electric rickshaw of Lohia Auto participated in the drive. Also, there were more than 50 hybrid and electric vehicles from different automobile manufacturers which participated in this drive and the fleet of vehicles included two wheelers, cars and buses.

Speaking on the occasion, Ayush Lohia, CEO, Lohia Auto said that e-vehicles are clearly the favoured mode of transport in the near future since there is a pressing need to bring down the emission of harmful gases that are hurting the world climate. It is important that people are made aware about the advantages of e-vehicles over traditional means of transport and encouraged to make a switch so that we make our planet healthy once again for future generations. Ayush Lohia added that 'Fame India Eco Drive' gives us an opportunity to showcase our wide range of non-polluting e-vehicles, which are the future mode of transport.
