Chandigarh 19th December:- Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organised 12th national conference on Digital India and its three Key Essentials Like Digital Infrastructure as a Utility to Every Citizen, Governance & Services on Demand, Digital Empowerment to Citizens. Around 35 delegates from the city and across the country from States like Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and J&K participated in the conference and presented research papers.
Anupam Gakhar Founder and CEO at IQ CHAMPS were the chief Guest and key note speaker at this occasion. According to him Digital India is a programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. Duplication of work, reduced communication costs, increased transparency in functioning of various government departments, and faster citizen services will be reduced.
While welcoming all the delegates Chairman J S Bedi Said that the aim of the conference was to provide a forum to the researchers and practitioners to meet and share current development and major challenges in the field of Digitization. Chairman Bedi further added that successful e-Governance initiatives are focused at ensuring better services for the citizens by ensuring convenience, efficiency, transparency & reliability. 87 papers based on unpublished and original research on the conference theme were submitted.
