Demolition drive Conducted in Sector 55 and 56

Chandigarh 24^th November:- The Sub Divisional Magistrate (South)-cum-Additional Municipal Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh, Kashish Mittal, today conducted a demolition drive in sector 55 and 56 of south jurisdiction. The demolition drive has been done on the orders of the Deputy Commissioner Ajit Balaji Joshi .

A Team consisting of officer and officials of the Municipal Corporation, Estate office,  Chandigarh conducted the demolition  drive in the above mentioned sectors falling under the jurisdiction of SDM(S)-. 30 Temporary structures in the area were removed along with the fish market. A truck containing Bajri was seized from the sight and 90 encroachment challans were issued.
