Chandigarh 05th September:- Enthusiasm and festivity marked the teachers Day celebrations at Universal Group of Institutions. UGI Campus s gripped with fervor as students put their best foot forward to pay tributes to the great visionary Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Campus a buzzed with various activities skits, plays, Poems, Dance etc. Later, Students gave speech on the importance of teachers .Various games were also organised for the whole staff of UGI. The main motive of this celebration was to bring oneness among teachers and encourage them to perform well for the betterment of society.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh Chairman UGI said that teachers dedicate their entire life mentoring countless children and such people are undoubtedly worth honouring .According to him they teach and enlighten students on all aspects of learning. They guide and inspire them to have a sense of purpose in life and goad them to pursue the right career path. He further added that teachers are most important Resource on earth as they mould a small child to become better human beings and social citizens of the world and left his life time impression on student's mind forever so it is impossible to measure the immense contribution of teachers.
