Chandigarh 20th May:-Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Chandigarh near Light Point, Sector-45/46-49/50, Chandigarh and recovered 5 gram of Heroin from her possession. A Case FIR No. 267 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.
In Excise Act cases Chandigarh police arrested 3 person named Jugesh Singh of Village-Kajheri, Shinder of Sector-56, and Manvir Singh of Chandigarh from the different places of chandigarh, Chandigarh and recovered 56 quarters of country made wine from his possession. A Case U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered against them in different Police Stations of Chandigarh. All the accused was later on bailed out. Further investigation is going on.
