Chandigarh 02nd October:- Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd.has also joined the nationwide cleanliness drive by initiating many campaigns at its petrol pumps and offices. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was initiated in Chandigarh by an inaugural event at Sector 20 petrol pump on Gandhi Jayanti. In Chandigarh HPCL commenced a campaign at its Sector 20 petrol pump where motoring customers who drove in to fuel their vehicles took pledge for joining the cleanliness drive. Customers also signed the pledge displayed at this retail outlet. This petrol pump wore an ultra clean look . On the occasion sapling were planted for a more aesthetic and clean environment.
Sr. Regional manager Krishan Handa informed that the oil company has initiated steps to ensure clean washroom facility at all its 12000 plus petrol pumps in the country and have initiated campaign to include millions of motoring citizens in its drive for clean environment. HPCL is stressing on litter free premises and impeccable housekeeping and maintenances of premises and surroundings. HPCL is also utilizing its premises to display messages of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
