Chandigarh 02nd October:- The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized the Clean India Drive on, October 2, 2014 in a big way. Most of the followers took part in it. The 'Clean India Drive was started at 7 in the morning today at various places in the city. Dr. B. S. Cheema, Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh Zone was also present for cleanliness campaign along with other Sewadal Adhikari of the Mission. They cleaned the Bus Stand Area ph-8 of mohali and various roads, beside they cleanedSant nirankari Satsang Bhawan Ph 6 in and surroundings. Kamal Kant Goyal Asstt. Commissioner of Mohali Municipal corporation addressed the local Mahapursha's in the campus of Satsang Bhawan Mohali and administrated Oath to keep up the cleanliness drive.
It may be recalled that the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organizes a cleanliness drive along with tree plantation all over Indian and abroad on February 23 every year when all the branches celebrate the Birthday of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj as Guru Puja Diwas.
