Chandigarh 02nd September:- A workshop on Fundamentals of Photography was organized by MCM Photography Club to induct new members and familiarize them with the basics of photography. The workshop which also marked the 3rd anniversary of the club was addressed by Navneet Saxena, a city based professional photographer.
Navneet Saxena discussed the camera, its parts and working, different types of lenses, camera accessories, rules of composition etc. The lecture was followed by an intriguing workshop wherein the students applied their knowledge in scrutinizing the technical and creative details of the photographs shown to them. Nearly 100 photographic works of Navneet Saxena were discussed during the workshop. The lecture-cum-workshop registered an overwhelming attendance. The students enthusiastically participated in the invigorating exercise. Navneet Saxena was all praises for their zeal and motivated them to make the most of such opportunities that the MCM Photography Club dispenses out to them.
Appreciating the endeavor, Dr. Puneet Bedi, Principal of the college said "Photography is what gives you a stationary moment of thought in this fast paced world. I am glad so many students are coming forward and embracing this passion.
