Chandigarh 01st September:- The artists of MCM showcased their creativity during the Talent Hunt organized by the Department of Fine Arts, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh. An overwhelming response was witnessed as more than 100 students participated in this contest comprising of seven categories. Art was at its peak during this competition where the creative flair and inventive persona of the students came to fore. Lalram Hulmi bagged the 1st Prize in cartooning while Ridhima and Rhythm Randhawa won the First prize for Still Life and Collage Making respectively. The mesmerizing poster by Shailee won her the First Prize in Poster making while Asha was adjudged best in Clay Modeling. The harness of on the spot landscape and installation were Tiruchana and Tushareka respectively.
The Pirncipal of the College Dr. Puneet Bedi applauded the endavour, congratulated the winners and motivated the students to make the most of such exceptional learning opportunities.
