Chandigarh 19th June:- BJP delegation under the leadership of President, Sanjay Tandon, met with Satya Gopal, Chairman Chandigarh Housing Board and made him aware of the difficulties being faced by the residents of Housing Board Accommodation.
Sanjay Tandon requested to the Chairman of Housing Board that GPA holder residents of Housing Board being given ownership rights, which claim is pending since long. Chairman stated that this demand which is pending since long time, has been accepted and the GPA holders can apply for the same. Board will transfer the houses without any objection. Sanjay Tandon stated that if any GPA holder faces any difficulty in this connection, he can contact Prem Kaushik, in the BJP Office, Sector 33A, Chandigarh, without any hesitation. BJP President Sanjay Tandon, while emphasizing on the violations of housing board, stated that this issue will also be resolved soon by framing bylaws, for which the residents have made need base changes in their accommodations which is the need of hour. He also demanded that all the notices of violation be withdrawn by the department. Chairman of Chandigarh Housing Board Satya Gopal, assured the delegation that all the demands will be taken seriously and resolved immediately.
