Over 450 Students Participate in Canadian Education Fair

Chandigarh 14th April:-- Charms Education & Immigration Services Pvt.
Ltd organized "Study in Canada Mega Education Fair & Admissions
Workshop 2014' in Hotel Taj. As many as 25 Canadian Institutes of
higher learning; took part in it. The fair was instrumental in helping
prospective students know about courses on offer by varied Canadian
Higher Education Institutes. There are many new age courses on offer
and information on these was shared with students. Sault College ,
Marie , Ontario, Kwantlen Polytechnic University , Surrey BC, College
of the Rockies , Cranbrook , BC, Columbia College , Vancouver , BC,
Loyalist College , Belleville , Ontario, University of Fraser Valley
, Abbotsford , BC were some of the Universities which participated in
the mega fair. The programmes for which maximum queries came were
related to Post Graduate Studies in Information Technology, Business,
Engineering, Nursing, Health .etc.
Manish Paitka, CEO, Charms Education & Immigration Services Pvt Ltd,
said that they got a very good response. Prospective students had a
very lively interaction with Canadian representatives and many of them
have registered for different courses. Our company will provide
admission and visa guidance to them."
Whereas according to Ms Jessica Wrightson,Camosun College, that they
are offering as many as 150 programmes in Engineering, Business,
Hospitality, Practical Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Environment Studies,
Visual Art etc. The advantage of studying at Camosun is that our
teaching methodology is very practical oriented. We are giving a 50
per cent waiver on application fee.
At the education fair student admission queries were answered and they
got latest information on student visa processing for Canada. In
addition pre visa and post visa information was also shared
comprehensively. Some special offers for students who enrolled for
September 2013 & January 2014 intake were made known. Many Institutes
offered application fee waiver, on the spot admissions, assessments
etc. Special Information sessions on accommodation facilities for
students in Canada were also held. Students were informed that
scholarships for meritorious students are available in Canada. There
is also a provision now for students to work off campus for 20 hours a
week thereby they earn as they learn.
