Indo Global Colleges Conduct A Debate For Youth

Mohali 08th January:-- Indo Global College of Engineering conducted a debate on the topic of 'The Big Debate'  Youth for Progress in which Students from all streams of Engineering, MBA and Architecture took part actively .Due to  youth centric theme there was active participation of the students. The selection committee, invited participation and then short listed the speakers on the basis of their speech.

Devinderjeet Singh, Final Mechanical Engineering student, spoke on the huge impact that youth has in all policy decisions irrespective of whether it is for advertisements of various products or for political mileage or setting a new trend in any activity as more than 60 per cent of our country's population comprise of youth. Hence the importance of youth in all areas cannot be ignored. Prateek of Civil Engineering department spoke on youth as the main driving force today. According to Sahil Sehgal a Final Year Computer Engineering student, youth feels that they have a major responsibility towards their country. He adds that they should learn from yesterday and live with hope for a better tomorrow.  Youth must rise up to every occasion and stand up against all wrong doings to make our beloved country the most progressive and cherished land in the world. But youth are also easily influenced, hence they must increase their awareness level by reading, participating and debating on issues of regional, national and international importance.

All the speakers were full of enthusiasm, exhibiting their youthful vigour and zest to work for a better tomorrow. R. Panickar Director General of Indo Global Colleges appreciated the wonderful efforts of the young students, their positive outlook on life and for conducting a successful and meaningful event.
