Mohali 28th October: ------ Civil department of Quest Group of Institutions organized a seminar on Why does Industry need Freshers by Mr. Pramod Mishra, Chief Manager, Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. New Delhi, who has received Viswakarma Award by Construction Industry Development Council as Outstanding Technologist.
While giving his views Pramod Mishra said that youngsters are full of High energy, positive attitude, readiness to relocate & succession planning are the major factors which attracts corporates towards budding talents but according to him the Youth itself is unaware of their unlimited potential & their abilities to deliver .He further enlightened the students by elaborating, the Industry expectations like clarity in subject knowledge, punctuality, initiative & innovativeness from young graduates, as major factors which are required. He also emphasized the significance of skill development of young Engineers like soft skills, communication skills, observation skills etc for their wholesome development. He advised the budding engineers to be willing to admit & learn from their mistakes & focus on their long term plans.
While speaking at the moment, Chairman D.S Sekhon said that seminars help the students to groom inner and outer strengths to reach the highest rung of their career. According to him inward strength is the basic fuel, which get sparked through outward strength. He advised the students to not to focus on the money alone while deciding about their career, but look for other aspects like development of their skills, developing positive attitude and stability in the profession; as these traits ensure a lifelong rewarding career
