Inter College Mathematics Quiz Contest Held At MCM

Chandigarh 28^th October: --- To promote healthy competition and learning amongst students an Inter College Quiz Contest was organized by the department of Mathematics of MCM DAV College. Many prestigious colleges from across the tricity participated in the activity which consisted of numerous round such as rapid fire, bonus round, negative positive round and a lot more to put to test the mathematical ability of the enthusiastic contestants. PGGCG-11 emerged the winner while MCM bagged the 2^nd position. The 3^rd position was won by Govt College of Education, Sector – 20, Chandigarh

 

The Chief Guest at the occasion Prof. S.K. Tomar, Chairperson, Department of Mathematics, Panjab University motivated the students to participate and make the most of such events to enhance their learning. The Principal of the college Dr Puneet Bedi lauded the exceptional endeavor and said that such activities are a unique way of learning through fun and team spirit.
