Chandigarh, Dec.15, 2025:-Jharkhand registered a convincing six-wicket victory over Chandigarh in their Women's Under-19 One Day Trophy Elite match at Lucknow on Monday.
After winning the toss, Chandigarh opted to bat first but were bowled out for 168 in 49 overs. Skipper Taisha Manchanda led from the front with a fighting 79 off 113 balls which included 10 boundaries and a six. Lower down the order, Aahan Vaid chipped in with an unbeaten 25For Jharkhand, Vrishti Kumari (3/19) and Bhumika (3/24) clinched three wickets each.
In reply, Jharkhand chased down the target comfortably by scoring 171 for 4 in 41.5 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Gurleen Kaur anchored the innings with an impressive unbeaten 81. She was well supported by captain Priyanka Luthra (23). Tarunika claimed two wickets for Chandigarh.
