Chandigarh, Dec.22, 2024:--UT boys bundled out for 250 runs agaisnt Chattisgarh at a league match of the Vijay Merchant Trophy being played at Shimoga (Karnataka) on Sunday.  Chhattisgarh won the toss and decided to field first which went in their favour. City batters struggled against the lethal bowling attack led by Vedant Jain (5/82) and Arya Singh (3/10). Despite the 68-run innings of top scorer Akul Bhanot, Chandigarh looked completely shattered with 127/8 on the board. Later, a118-run partnership between Ranveer Ahuja and Abhay Singh Gulia took the team to a respectable total of 250 (all out). Unbeaten Ranveer Ahuja scored 62 runs while Abhay contributed 55 runs.
