Chandigarh, June 26, 2023:-DLF City Center Mall, Chandigarh and Corporate FIT India team organised a Yoga Camp at Amity University, Punjab, with the support of Edifecs. The programme was held under the theme of "Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam".
It was supported by the Amity University Punjab NSS, renowned for health and wellness-related events. The day was filled with excitement and numerous activities that left a lasting impression on the participants. Gym activities were organized by Powerhouse Gym, Mohali.
The event commenced with the National Anthem, which filled the air with a sense of patriotism and unity. Following this, a rejuvenating yoga session was conducted by Rajshri Iyer, a certified yoga instructor and holistic mind coach, and Kulwinder Kaur, a certified ashtanga and hatha yoga instructor. Their expertise and guidance helped participants experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga.
Employees of Edifecs and Corporate Fit India Foundation members, students and faculty members of Amity University Punjab actively participated in the yoga session and performed several asanas, demonstrating their commitment to embracing a healthy lifestyle. The atmosphere was filled with positive energy and a shared dedication to promoting well-being.
Ramya Menon, HR Lead from Edifecs and Sahil Kapoor, Director of Business Development Marketing, Amity University Punjab, Gaurav Kohli, Founder of Corporate Fit India, enlightened the participants with their valuable insights on yoga and encouraged them to embrace yoga as an integral part of their lives, leading to a healthy lifestyle.
In addition to yoga, the event featured captivating music and dance performances by the talented students of Amity University Punjab. Their performances infused the crowd with joy and entertainment. To further engage the participants, a lucky draw by Decathlon and a variety of fun sports and gym activities were organized, allowing them to showcase their skills and compete for exciting prizes. A free health checkup camp was also set up for the participants by the Ivy Hospital, Mohali
Adding an element of laughter and amusement, artist SM Gulati entertained the audience with a brilliant stand-up performance. His humor provided laughter therapy to the employees, faculty, staff, students, and guests, creating moments of shared merriment and joy.
