1) Since your father, Hardeep Singh is a renowned Punjabi artist, was it challenging for you to follow in his footsteps?

Certainly, it was challenging for me to follow my father's footsteps. It's been 40 years that he has been giving his contributions to the Punjabi Music Industry and has given many hit songs. On and off the field he is a great personality and human being. He has done a lot for society and always stood for his friends and colleagues in their good and bad times. Indeed, to carry forward the legacy of a living legend is challenging and tough for me. But I firmly believe that a tough path makes you stronger and shapes your career for the better.

2) How has your musical journey been from the debut song 'Dil De Kutte' to the beautiful romantic track 'Humsafar' in which your wife Rhythm Singh Randhawa is also featured?

The journey has been very nice and with a lot of learning all by God's grace. I never expected that I would reach this level. It was my passion for music, which brought me back to India from Australia where I was pursuing my education. Initially, it was tough for me to convince my parents but later they supported my decision. Every song is close to my heart be it 'Dil De Kutte', 'Allah Veh' in Coke Studio, or 'Humsafar'. During the journey, I worked with different labels and each and every day was a new experience for me. I truly believe it's passion that drives you to work hard and this has given me a lot.

3) Tell us something about your upcoming projects?

Yes, two of my songs are coming up soon with renowned Hindi lyricist Kunal Verma, the music is by Aditya Dev featuring Payal Dev. Kunal is a renowned Bollywood songwriter who has given many hit songs. I am privileged and happy to work with him. The song titles haven't been decided yet, the details will soon be rolled out.

4) Will fans soon watch the Rhythm & Jashan chemistry on screen?

Yes, Rhythm and I are coming up in two romantic tracks very soon and I am sure that people would love our chemistry on screen. Besides that, we both are focusing on a dance number, which will be released at the end of this year. We are sure that fans will love our Jodi in a new avatar.
