Chandigarh Oct. 08, 2020:-Cleanliness drive was carried out in the Industrial Area, Phase 1 by various departments of the Municipal Corporation under the leadership of ward 20 councilor Shakti Prakash Devshali. In this campaign, BJP District General Secretary Bhupinder Saini, Mandal President Satbir Singh Thakur, Mukesh Chanalia, Rajinder Singh, Paramjeet Lucky, Ratan Kanwal Singh Matharu, Anil Gahir, besides the Sub Divisional Engineer Horticulture Department Angrej Singh, Harimohan Meena, Yogesh, Bhupinder Singh, Praveen Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Sohan Singh etc. were present.
In this campaign, employees of various departments carried out joint operations, taking prompt action on all the problems related to cleaning, pruning of trees, cleaning of pavement, cleaning of debris, harvesting of grass in vacant places, street lights, street lights, road gully and sewerage.
Councilor Shakti Prakash Devshali said that Chandigarh has a distinct identity all over the world due to its greenery and cleanliness. All the employees of the Municipal Corporation do their utmost to uphold this identity and all the people of Chandigarh also encourage them for their efforts.
