Chandigarh 13th August:- The Rotary Club of Nahan Sirmour Hills has conferred prestigious 'Award of Excellence' to Dr Munish Chauhan, Sr. Consultant-Nephrology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali.. Kaul Singh Thakur , Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Revenue has given award to Dr Chauhan at Nahan. Rtn. David Hilton, District Governor Elect 2015-16 was the Guest of Honour at the award ceremony. Dr Chauhan has got the award for his exceptional commitment and professional excellence in the field of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant.
Speaking during occasion, Kaul Singh Thakur said that touching lives, showing compassion, providing quality healthcare everyday was what our doctors would do as a part of their routine lives. This was a platform to give credence to the skill and commitment of such doctors.
The President of the club, Rtn. Dr Chuni Lal Sharma said that we were genuinely indebted to doctors in the medical fraternity for their contribution in trying to make the society disease free. It was an honour to us today to felicitate these great medical minds who selflessly serve the public without bothering about their own comfort. This award has been instituted in recognition of the exemplary work that Dr Chauhan has done in the field of Nephrology.
