Mohali, March 09, 2025:-Rattan Group of Institutes (RGI) celebrated International Women's Day cum Freshers' Party with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event, which highlighted women's achievements and the importance of gender equality, featured a vibrant cultural program, inspiring speeches, and the presence of several distinguished guests.
The celebration was graced by prominent personalities, including Satinder Satti, a renowned anchor, writer, and Punjabi film actress, Tania and Roopi Gill popular Punjabi film actresses, Hardev Singh Ubha, Punjab BJP leader, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Media Coordinator and Director of Rabab Studio, Sunderlal Aggarwal and Sangeeta Aggarwal, Chairman and MD of the Rattan Group of Institutes, respectively. The event was also attended by Principal Dr. Prof. Jyoti Tiwari, Vice-Principal Ms. Heera Mani, Professor Ms. Maninder Kaur, faculty members, and students of RGI.
The cultural program, presented by nursing and paramedical students, showcased the rich diversity of Indian culture through traditional songs and dances. Additionally, food stalls set up by students added a flavorful touch to the celebration. Chairperson Sunderlal Aggarwal delivered a thought-provoking speech on the significance of Women's Day, emphasizing the need to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women in all spheres of life.
The highlight of the event was the crowning of Harshita, a first-year BSc Nursing student, as "Ms. Fresher." The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Ms. Heera Mani, who expressed gratitude to all guests, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
The event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the RGI faculty and students, who came together to create a memorable and inspiring experience for everyone present.
