27 Matches Played on the First Day of Gully Cricket Tournament

Chandigarh, July 27, 2024:-Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament which is being organized by UT Cricket Association and Chandigarh Police kicks off Saturday as a total of 17 matches were played on Day one on the knock basis. The remarkable feature of the matches were, the players were administered oaths to keep away from drugs. Apart from the Police Lines ground, these matches are being played in eight other school grounds of the city. The matches are being conducted under the continuous vigilance of UTCA selectors. UTCA's President Sanjay Tandon has planned to honed the skills of the players who perform well in this edition to make their representation from the Chandigarh team in the upcoming BCCI's tournaments.  The tournament is being well supported by Municipal Corporation, Sports, Education and Social Welfare departments.
