Chandigarh, April 22, 2024:- As part of his election campaign, BJP Chandigarh Candidate for Lok Sabha elections, Sanjay Tandon addressed gatherings at Industrial Area Phase 2 and Sector 26 Grain Market.
Addressing the gathering organised by Ajay Gupta, MD of Essen Deinki at Phase 2 Industrial Area, BJP Candidate, Sanjay Tandon, said that chandigarh has witnessed rapid developments in the past 10 years and the city is continuously evolving. There are certain challenges and long standing issues to be addressed such as building bylaws, conversion of leasehold to freehold, Floor Area Ratio(FAR), housing board issues etc. He assure you that your problems will be resolved with utmost priority, if he is elected to power. The next 5 years will be a golden period for the city.
Tandon also highlighted the development that took place in the city such as cycle tracks, Air Force Museum, Bird Park, 9 percent increase of green cover, revamp of community centres, etc.
Launching a salvo, Tandon further said that he wants to leave it to the city voters to decide, whether they want a leader who is hopping from one constituency to another, or they want a local leader, who has been serving the city for the last 20 years.
Later in the day BJP Chandigarh Candidate addressed a public meeting at Sector 26 Grain Market organised by Grain Market Association at Sector 26 Grain Market.
During the event the Grain Market Association members submitted a memorandum to Tandon in which they raised their issues such as Partition and subdivision of shops, need based internal changes, allowing sheds on the owned open space and consideration of platform in front SCF/SCO/SSS as part of the immovable property, etc. Sanjay Tandon assured the association members that issues will be resolved with utmost priority.
