Chandigarh, April 30, 2024:-Our government is committed to the inclusive development of all sections of society, including minorities. The Modi government is dedicated to promoting diversity and ensures that every individual's rights are protected, regardless of caste, creed, or community affiliation ," said BJP candidate for Lok Sabha elections, Sanjay Tandon, while addressing a gathering of the Muslim community in Manimajra, Chandigarh.

During the event, Haji Khurshid Mohammad, National Executive member of Minority Morcha, said that the policies and programmes of the Modi government for the minorities have ushered in a new era of optimism among minorities.

Tandon underlined various policies and programs implemented by the Modi government to address the socio-economic challenges faced by the Muslim community, while promoting inclusivity and diversity. Tandon said that the opposition is in a desperate situation as they don't have any issue to talk about in this election. They have nothing to talk about as their rule was full of scams, while ours is full of 'beneficiary schemes' launched for the poor people.

He mentioned that under the UDAN scheme, free coaching arrangements are provided to Muslim students for the preparation of competitive exams. Additionally, an amount of Rs 51,000 is also given as Shaadi Shagun to Muslim girls who have completed graduation under the Shaadi Shagun Scheme. Furthermore, the Ustad Yojana has been initiated to enhance the skills of Muslim artisans. The Modi government is committed to the upliftment of Muslims, providing employment opportunities to them under the Shiksha Aur Kamao scheme.

Tandon also highlighted transformative initiatives undertaken by the Modi government launched for the poor people such as Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Awaaz Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Atal Pension, and Ayushman Bharat, connecting remote villages with cities.

Concluding his address, he urged voters to participate in large numbers on June 1 and said that it's the right and duty of every citizen to vote for the right government and for national development. He appeals to all the people present here to vote for BJP and for the development of the country.
