PKK organizes All India Bhaskar Rao Nritya and Sangeet Sammelan

Chandigarh, Mar.15, 2024:-Soulful violin and dazzling Bharatnatyam dance performances marked the inaugural day of ten day Annual 53rd All India Bhaskar Rao Nritya and Sangeet Sammelan at Tagore Theatre.
The 53rd segment of the much awaited All India Bhaskar Rao Nritya and Sangeet Sammelan opened to a serene and soulful  start with a heartrending violin  presentation at the Tagore Theatre here today. The ten  day festival of classical music and dance aimed at propagating the classical performing arts of India is the much awaited event in the region like the Hari Vallabh Sangeet Sammelan.  Sh. R. C. Mishra, IPS,  Director General, Haryana Govt  was the Chief Guest.  Kendra's Registrar Dr. Shobha Koser, Secretary Sajal Koser were also present on this occasion. To attend the sammelan special guests Balasaheb Suryavanshi (President), Vishwas Jadhav(Registrar), Sudhakaar Chavan(Secretary), Dr. Jayant Kulkarni(Advisor) from Akhil Bhartiya Mandal Mumbai and Mrs. Meera Mathur from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyaptih Lucknow graced the occasion. All the guests were honored  with scroll of Honor and mementos.

The programe commenced with a remarkable musical delight by  eminent Violin exponent Deepak Pandit. He presented melodic and soulful presentation with his magical fingers on strings of violin. He begin his presentation with Raag Kirwani  with  aalap, jod and mesmerizing jhala. Then he moved on to present captivating raagmala . He concluded with a Bharavi of Punjab ang. His melodic performance amidst applause. He was finely accompanied by superb artists Debajit Patitundi on tabla and Sridar Parthasarathy on Mridangam.

After this soulful performance Vidushi Rama Vaidyanathan  took the centre stage and presented remarkable Bharatnatyam dance presentations . She along with her troupe commenced with special performance Pratibondhita. 
The troupe presented first part  Tiruvempavai  through this they presented how waking up from your sleep is a metaphor for waking up from the slumber of ignorance, and Waking up to light of the of the supreme consciousness. The music of this piece was  composed by Sudha Raghuraman. Then they moved on to present their next rendering Kashi, through this they depicted and describe the sacred city of Benaras , where every one who is  searching for truth is always welcome . It is a space that gives your bliss, freedom and joy. It is where Lord Visveswara is residing. It is where life and death both are celebrated by the banks of the river ganga. It is where the yogis and aghoras renounce life searching for spiritual realization .The dance was concluded with Raas Mandala , abhinaya piece based on Surdas Bhajan in which they depicted The circle is a symbol of unending life and continuity and the Raas Mandala is always in a circle of vibrant dancing .

Her remarkable troupe members are Pritam Das, Nilav Sen, Shubhamanni, Vaishanavi , Reshvi, Keertana , Rohini Sowmaya . Rama was finely accompanied by Sudha Raghuraman on Vocal, Himanshu Srivastava on Nattuvangam , Saniddhi Vaidyanathan on Mridangam, G Raghuraman on flute  and lights by Jaya Seal
In the end artists honored with a scroll  and memento.
