Mohali, Nov.13, 2023:- The Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated Diwali at its camapus. Class wise and house wise skits were presented by students to drive home the message and reinforce the pledge to celebrate a green and noise-free Diwali. On concluding day students came dressed up in festive traditional clothes for the celebration in traditional style. In Pre-primary section Dandiya Raas' was organized in which students and parents participated with great enthusiasm. The program began with 'Ram Bhajan' followed by a dance. The Students and parents along with teachers, all danced on the beats and tune of 'Dandiya' very enthusiastically. Class party was also planned to instill the value of sharing with each other. Principal Gianjot Kaur stated that these events help build the attributes of team spirit and the spirit of camaraderie among the children. She further motivate students to use earthen lamps rather than electric bulbs and Distribute useful things like clothes, books, eatables to less fortunate people than fire the crackers then this can be turn out to be brighter Diwali and more meaningful one. According to her such approach would give eternal pleasure and contentment. She further encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm .At the end the programme was concluded while taking pledge to not to burn the fireworks.
