The Holy Wonder Smart School students participated enthusiastically in Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebration. School Director Parveen Sabharwal, Aryan Sabharwal and Anmol Sabharwal was also present at the event.
Students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Gopikas enthusiastically to celebrate Sri Krishna janmashtami .Children presented a tableau on this occasion, followed by a role play, where they portrayed roles of Radha and Krishna besides various instances of Lord Krishna's life including his birth and his days in Brindavan. A tiny tot dressed as Sri Krishna walked along the footsteps drawn on the dais while the Gopikas performed puja and offered naivedyam. It seems the angels dressed in the Lord Krishna's attire landed on the earth to celebrate the Krishna Janmashtami.
Then, an event out of Krishna's life was enacted by the students. It reflected life of Sri Krishna in a pastoral society. Krishna's mother was shown making curds, butter etc. Krishna himself was shown busy teasing the girls while playing the flute (Bansuri). There was a special Bhajan sung by the Primary section students. Later, foot-tapping music led the dancers into a zestful performance of the Dandiya.
While Speaking at the moment Principal Premjit Grover preached the students that the teachings of Lord Krishna of fighting one's self that is egotism and egocentrism and Nurturing positive qualities in oneself should be followed to live a better and contented life.
