Chandigarh May 07, 2022:-Confidence is contagious and at times, it can make you do the unthinkable.  When faced with a grave challenge in life, all you need is a little trust  on yourself and the support of your loved ones to overcome and feel empowered again. This is exactly what the Wagles are upto in Sony SAB's Wagle Ki Duniya as they plan to organise a special play on Ramayana to help Radhika (Bharati Achrekar) gain back her self-confidence in Sony SAB's Wagle Ki Duniya.

Sakhi's (Chinmayee Salvi) plan to host a skit is underway in Sai Darshan Heights Society for motivating Radhika who is struggling with Alzheimer's. While Radhika is excited to play the part of Kaushalya on stage and prove that she still has a strong memory, she struggles to memorise the lines. Rajesh, Vandana and Srinivas realise that Radhika's gradual memory loss is making her lose confidence. When Radhika tells Rajesh about a monologue that she is worried about delivering on stage, the latter assures her of prompting the lines from the wing, just like she used to do when Rajesh was young. However, during the act, Rajesh doesn't prompt any line but just by looking at him, Radhika gains the confidence and ends up performing the monologue correctly on stage.

Bharati Achrekar playing the role of Radhika Wagle said that memory loss is a harsh truth. It's not easy for someone to address and accept that they have started forgetting the basics of daily life. In such times, denial creeps in and that's what happens with Radhika as well. But she believes the only people you can bank on in difficult times are your loved ones and Radhika's family manages to bring her out of the fear and make her feel confident again. My heart goes out to the people who experience this in real life and she hope they are ably supported by their families to sail through the day to day challenges.

Sumeet Raghavan essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle said that Alzheimer's doesn't only impact the one who is suffering, but also the people around. We don't know what to do to help our loved ones and make them feel better. But all it needs is a little understanding and intent to fight the battle together. It was Radhika who had taught Rajesh to memorise things once so it's only natural that he does the same to help her regain self-confidence now. He believe that's what families do, they love you a bit more on your bad days. Through this track, he hope we are able to convey the importance of standing together with such people and supporting them through the crisis.
