Installation Ceremony of Rotaract Club Held at GGSCW-26

Chandigarh August 27, 2021:- The Rotaract Club of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh organised its annual Installation Ceremony on August 26, 2021 to welcome the new members. The occasion was graced by Secretary, Rtn J.S. Bawa, Director Community Service, Rtn Pradeep Sasodia and Director Youth Service, Rtn Jeeten Bhambri from Rotary Midtown Chandigarh. They felicitated the new President, Lisha Arora, Secretary, Khusboo Sharma and other newly appointed office-bearers of the club with badges and wished them a bright future. The new members shared their proposed goals for the coming session and promised to uphold the spirit of service and strive towards making the society a better place. This was followed by cultural performances by them.

To mark this occasion, bamboo seedlings were also planted by the Vice Principal, Mrs Prabhjot Kaur, guests, staff and students.

Keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic, all norms were strictly adhered to during the event.

The Vice Principal congratulated the new members of the board and appreciated the efforts of the club coordinators, Ms Sukhdeep Kaur and Dr Anju Bala in organising the event. The coordinators of the club concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
