Desh Bhagat University organizes a Webinar & Online Competition on World Health Day

Chandigarh April 08, 2021:-  To Mark 25 years Silver Jubilee celebration of Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital, DBAC&H Organised a Webinar on World Health Day in Collaboration with Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad. Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh congratulated the entire faculty and students of DBAC & H for the successful completion of 25 years and on World Health Day. 

General Secretary of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad Dr. Ashvini Bhargava was the special guest on the occasion. Dr.Sunil Vashisht, MD of Life Member, International Society for Heart Research joined the webinar as Guest Speaker. The main motive of the Webinar was to impart knowledge about the various Immune Disorders and their Ayurvedic Management.

Giving details of the event, the spokesperson of the university said that the guest speaker shared his clinical studies on various ayurvedic medicines for the treatment of Immune Disorders by the Ayurvedic Approach. Dr. Zora Singh Highlighted the WHO World Health Day Theme 2021 ' Building a fairer, Healthier World and highlighted how people can have better access to health services and live healthier lives than others.

The audience was briefed about the various immune disorders and their causes by the speaker. Students of BAMS, Teaching Faculty of DBAC&H, and DBU participated in the webinar with full enthusiasm.

The spokesperson further said that on this occasion the faculty of nursing, DBU has organized the online poster presentation competition in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat club conveying a message that Our world is an unequal one.

Students of all nursing classes from the faculty of nursing were involved to create awareness about health and building and living a healthy and fairer life by participating in the poster-making competition. The students actively participated in this competition. The students of M.Sc 2nd year secured 1st position whereas 2nd position was a tie between the two students of M.Sc 2nd year and B.Sc 2nd year and the 3rd position was secured by GNM 1st year student. Dr.Shalini Gupta congratulated Prof. Kudish Kaur & Dr.Satya Deo Pandey for the excellent initiative.

Dr. Kulbushan, registrar of DBU expressed his quest to provide medical care with professionalism and dedication to mark the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital.
