Chandigarh August 07, 2020:- Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Pharmacy of Desh Bhagat University launched "Ayush Kaadha distribution drive to help people boost immunity against COVID -19 Pandemic. The Ayush Kaadha is prepared by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic Pharmacy as per guidelines laid by the Department of Ayush, Government of India, as an immunity Booster against Covid-19. On day one 200 packets of 50 gm of the kaadha were distributed
Dr.Zora Singh, Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University, said, "In the wake of Covid-19 outbreak enhancing the body's natural defense system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum Health. By introducing the drive we look forward to Ayurvedic immunity boosting measures for self care during COVID-19 crisis.
Dr.Tejinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor Desh Bhagat University, said that while lacs of people have been affected by the pandemic which has even claimed their lives, DBU has taken this initiative as an extended support towards mankind.
Dr.Kulbhushan Vashisht, Director, DBACH&H, said that we hope more and more people can be benefited by it, wished for good health of everyone.
