CII's Virtual Exhibition & Conference on Agriculture to be Held on June 26

Chandigarh June 24, 2020:-Confederation of Indian Industry, in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, is organizing its first Virtual Conference & Exhibition on New Innovation and Digital Technologies for Smart, Safe & Sustainable Agriculture – IntelAgri, on 26-27 June 2020 on HIVE – CII's virtual platform. More than 500 delegates from India, including farmers, FPOs, KVKs, Research Institutes, Agricultural Universities, Central & State Government officials, Industry members are expected to attend the event.

Sanjay Agarwal, Secretary-Agriculture, Government of India has confirmed to be the Chief Guest and would be addressing the Inaugural Session of the Conference scheduled from 1000-1115 hrs on 26 June.

This event would be a platform to collaborate, discuss, invest and explore disruptions in the Indian agri space and network with leading agri-food technology corporations, start-ups, investors, academia and Government. The event would witness deliberation by more than 30 eminent experts on adoption of global technologies & innovations in agriculture sector, sharing their deep understanding through 5 focused panel discussions as:

The 1^st panel discussion; Application of New Innovations & Digital Technologies to empower small farmers to be held on 26 June from 1130-1230 hrs will deliver on opportunities & challenges in adoption of sustainable crop protection & digital technologies in India

2^nd panel discussion; Establishing New Network of Technology Enablers for New Solutions to be held on 26 June from 1245-1345 hrs will deliberate on critical aspects that would define the future roadmap for the agri & food industry.

The 3^rd panel discussion to be held on day 2, 27 June from 1000-1100 hrs shall have a dialogue about Disruptive Technologies to Stimulate Exports of Food Products from India.

4^th and the penultimate panel discussion; Technology for Assessment of Productivity & Quality Standards of agri produce to be held on 27 June from 1115-1215 hrs shall have deliberations about adoption of new technologies that will help India to maintain the quality and balance the productivity.

The final and the 5^th panel discussion; Emerging FinTech for Integrating Agri-value Chain to be held on 27 June from 1230-1330 hrs will have conversations focused around the role of Startups to align finance and agri technology for the farmers.
