Chandigarh May 19, 2020:-Desh Bhagat University School of Nursing Celebrated Nursing Week from 12th to 18th May 2020 for thanking those in the profession and  to pay tribute to nurses and health workers who tragically died fighting against the corona virus

To motivate and appreciate the efforts of Nurses for their invaluable contribution during this pandemic COVID-19 all over the world, various activities were organized like poster making competition, expert talks and sharing of encouraging messages through digital medium. More than 1000 students participated in the activities.

Chancellor, Dr. Zora Singh and Dr. Tejinder Kaur Pro Chancellor paid tribute to Florence Nightingale, founder of modern nursing on her 200th birth anniversary and saluted the contribution of nurses globally during pandemic COVID-19.

Vice President, Dr. Sandeep Singh highlighted. that nurses are there throughout the age spectrum providing care from birth to death He expressed gratitude for their self less contribution.

Vice Principal, Desh Bhagat school of nursing thanked all those who participated said that opportunities in the field are growing as Nurses work in different areas of healthcare.
