RED FM Launches “Doubt Ko Out” to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Chandigarh, 07th Mar, 2020:- 93.5 RED FM, one of the largest and most awarded private radio network in India has come up with a new campaign, 'Doubt Ko Out' on International Women's Day. The campaign will bring out stories of women who faced challenges related to physical appearance and body shaming and doubts on their capabilities to do something given to them by the society.  Women from different strata's of society depicting that how societal behavior can harm someone to this extent that women can lose self-confidence and can even go to extent of harming themselves.

As part of this initiative, RED FM will feature some of the women from different walks of life and give them a makeover. The stories of these women were narrated on air and an on-ground exhibition will showcase their transformation photographs at the VR Punjab Mall on 8thMarch 2020. These extraordinary women will be present at the exhibition to tell their stories.

Commenting on this initiative, Nisha Narayanan, Director & COO, RED FM and Magic FM, said that this Women's Day, we wanted to put spotlight on strong women who choose to rebel against the pressures of societal expectations and have emerged as winners in their field of work. These women are the ones who refused to take the pressure about their looks, body type, shape, career choices and made their own path. RED FM has always believed in promoting equality and encouraging people to challenge the status quo. "Doubt ko Out" is one such endeavour that celebrates women who made a meaningful difference in their lives.

The campaign will feature stories of some of the renowned Punjabi celebrities like Rupinder Handa, Bharti, T J Bhanuand Jasleen Royal. Punjabi Superstar Singer Singaa came forward to support these girls and was part of this photoshoot for the exhibition.
