Chandigarh 26th November:- The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Chandigarh Kendra bid a warm adieu to its Secretary P.R. Aggarwal, IAS (retd), in a grand farewell celebration at Hotel Hyatt Chandigarh.
A former IAS Officer, P R Aggarwal had joined the Bhavan Vidyalaya as Honorary Secretary, post retirement from the Civil Services and had served the school for a period of 28 years from 1991 to 2019.
Rajendra K Saboo, chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra, said that during the period of his tenure, he had always been a resilient guiding force and an encouraging presence for the school in all its endeavours, bringing the wealth of his knowledge, experience and exceptional acumen.
A warm send off was given to him and among those present included Senior Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh Vineeta Arora, Vice Principal Mrs. Suparna Bansal, Principal Junior Wing Soma Mukhopadhay school staff, Chandigarh Kendra Associate Secretary Madhukar Malhotra, eminent Rotarian and owner of Aroma Hotel Man Mohan Singh Kohli.
Other dignitaries included members of the Management Committee of Chandigarh Kendra, Associate Secretary, Madhukar Malhotra and Manmohan Singh Kohli, and several other members of the managing committee.
