Chandigarh 01st August:- Kalakar Hub and Eight Count Studio in collaboration with Triveni Foundation are organising 'Ultimate Dancer 2018' on August 4 at Bal Bhawan in Sector 23. The objective of holding the dance competition is to encourage youngsters to get a platform to show their talent.
Giving the information, Managing Director of the event company, Sunny said that a lot of tricity residents are good dancers but do not get a platform to perform. This competition will give them a chance and also the confidence to perform infront of an audience.
He informed there will be different categories in the event, which would include solo, couple and group performances. The age groups would be 8-13, above 15, in solo, while couples would be 3-14, and above 15, while in case of groups the age limit has been fixed at 3-14 and above 14. Prominent choreographers from tricity will be among judges while winners will given cash prizes worth Rs 11000 and participation certificates for all.
Sushil Kumar, president of Triveni Foundation said it was a good initiative and his foundation is always keen to be associated with such events.
