“Humble to be Chandigarhians” organizes Blood Donation and General Health Checkup Camp

Chandigarh 03^rd June:- A Blood  Donation Camp and General Health Checkup Camp which includes Cardiac Checkup, Dental Checkup & Blood Tests, was Organized by "Humble to be Chandigarhians", a  Face Book Group  of  more  than  36000 members held    in Association  with the  socially  conscious  management  of  Helping Hand PUSHPAC On 3^rd June, 2018, at Pushac Society, Sector – 49, Chandigarh where  about  100  persons donated the Blood to serve the Society and more than 200 persons were medically checked up by various Expert Doctors. The  novelty  of  this  event  lay in  the  unique cohesion  created  by  hitherto  unknown  Face book  friends  of ladies  and  gentlemen of different  age  groups from different   walks  of  life , coming face  to  face  first  time.

Dr.  Anurag Sharma, Renowned Cardiac Specialist & Director of  Ojus Hospital Sector 26, Panchkula,  was  the  Chief  Guest  Facilitated by Incharge of Social Events, Navkiron  Singh,  Mrs. Riya Kakkar and Subhash Luthra, R M  Kashyap & Kanwaljit Kaler, The Administrators of  this  social group,  were  the   cohesive  force to  bring  donors  from  outstations apart  from  tricity.

As chief guest Dr. Anurag Sharma insisted on the importance of more & more such camps to provide the best possible medical facilities to the needy at their door steps. Riya Kakkar & Deepa Aggarwal conducted the stage very well.

The Cardiac & General body checkup was Governed by a Senior Doctor Sh. Jaspreet Singh Cardiac Specialist of Mukat Hospital, Chandigarh

Many visitors get their eyes checked & Tested by the expert team with Dr. Shuchi Goyal from Garewal Eye Care Center, Chandigarh.

The Dental checkup was headed by Dr. Pallavi Dhiman of Apple Dental Care and Implant Center, Chandigarh.

The Blood Checkup & test were sponsored and organized by Medicos Center, Sector-22, Chandigarh under the supervision of Dr. Harneet Singh.

The event was very well organized by all the volunteer team of HTBC & blessed  by  the eminent personalities of Tricity .

All  the  donors  were  very  well  looked  after  by  the  organizers  and  profusely  thanked  them  for this noble  social  cause.
