City Boy Anshuman Wins Two Silver Medals for India

Chandigarh 18th May:- City Boy Nine years old Anshuman displayed his extra ordinary martial arts skills in the "kukkiwon Cup" Indian International Taekwondo Championship-2017 (16-18 May 2017) held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. Anshuman, a student of class 4, proudly represented India in Sub Junior Category and won a Silver Medal in Poomsae. Anshuman proudly fought like a little warrior winning another Silver medal for his country in Kyorugi and during his fight his opponents could not match up to his skills.  Anshuman barely missed the Gold medal by two points fighting with an elder participant who had weight advantage over Anshuman.

More than 1000 Participants from 7 countries participated in the "kukkiwon Cup" Indian International Taekwondo Championship-2017.  C.R. Chaudhary, Hon'ble Minister of State, Government of India declared the "kukkiwon Cup" Indian International Taekwondo Championship-2017 open during the opening ceremony.

Anshuman had recently won Gold and a Silver medal at the Himalyan National Taekwondo Championship representing Chandigarh. It is worth noting that after winning the National Gold and Bronze, Anshuman said that his dream is to win Medals for India at the International Level. Anshuman had also won the GTA Taekwondo cup after winning his National medals and just recently had managed to win a Gold, silver and a bronze medal in Open National taekwondo Championship representing Haryana.   Apart from this, Anshuman had recently also won one Silver Medal and two bronze medals in Universal Taekwondo Competition. Anshuman's age might be tender but his dreams are big as he wants to represent the country at more international Competitions and wants to win for his country.

Anshuman is seeking training from the reputed Emerald Martial Arts Academy and dedicates his International medals to his esteemed coach Shiv Raj Gharti and Kavita Madam. Anshuman said that he was able to achieve this feat only because of blessings of his coach Shiv Raj Gharti and the expert training received from Master Shiv Raj Gharti.  It was only because of Master Shiv Raj Gharti's expert tips at the ring side that helped Anshuman win two medals for India. Anshuman holds Master Shiv Raj Gharti as his role model and it is his dream to fulfill all the expectations of his coach Master Shiv Raj Gharti.
