Chandigarh 19th December:- Women TV India project team of Ankit Dhariwal Memorial trust had organized a successful audition for wow womania A all women musical show at Museum Art Gallery auditorium Sector 10 Chandigarh. The purpose is to provide a platform to women's singing talent. The final show is proposed to be staged on January 21, at Tagore theater in chandigarh . 110 women from Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Patiala, Kurukshetra and-tricity of Chandigarh, had participated enthusiastically and enthralled the judges and present audience.
The team of jury includes Zee Sa Re Ga Ma topper fame vocalist Dr Mrs. Rinku Kalia, Bishambhar Sharma mentor of Rafi Night shows and Charan Singh Thakur Music Director. The judges took the responsibility to select the final performers and and guided the performs during their performance, the auditions basic music was play backed by Dr Arun kant sharma on keyboard his team including Ravinder Chopra on tabla and ratan dev on octopad .the stage was conducted by Mrs Dheerja Sharma .in the beginning Dr Shalini Sharma a women TV project director formally welcomed the judges and present participants and expressed the mission of this project women tv and its outreach events .
wtv director finance Mrs Sharda Mittal presented bouquet to judges and stated how this team is working with women contributions only, women TV India founder and mentor Sunita Dhariwal said that wow womania is a unique program in its concept and design which will show case the journey of female singers of Hindi film industry since 1930 to 2016 this will be a medley performance depicting each decade journey through that era music and costumes and makeup style. This is a celebration of womanhood and remembering the hardship of singers who chosen this profession despite of all social adversities .their courage had made easy roads of our generation women to took admirable profession of singing the judges had selected 50 women to sing in this show kindly find attached -a list of selected singers .and pictures of singers
To boost the morale of women team the honorable Governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh Solanki had kindly consented to be the chief guest of the show Mrs .Manjhli Sharan ,Shikha Shyam Raana ,Shally Taneja had documented this event on video and still camera . Mrs Sadhna Sanger ,Mrs Kanchan jain ,mrs neelam trikha managed the hospitality and the senior team members including Shehla Javed ,Neerja Sharma,Kavita Sharma Sunita Garg, Paramjit Tezi assisted in event management works of this show and had performed multiple duties. This was a memorable and successful event in which we witnessed the enthusiasm and courage of women to really came forward to rediscover their passion of singing which was somewhere lost in other family or workplace responsibilities.
