International Honors for PGI Anaesthetist

Chandigarh 18th October:- PGI Chandigarh Anaesthetist, Dr Babita Ghai, Professor, Department of Anesthesia, received many international laurels while attending 15th World Congress Pain at Japan. 

She has been elected as co-Editor of Acute pain Special Interest Group of International Association for Study of Pain (IASP). She is also selected as Task Force Member of International Pain Registry of IASP. She was invited as guest faculty to chair a session during this conference. Additionally she was also invited, as special invitee, for "core competency pain education program" during this world congress on pain. IASP is the highest leading professional forum for science, practice, and education in the field of pain. IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, health-care providers and policymakers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide. Dr Babita Ghai is associated with IASP since 2004 and is also a recipient of IASP developing countries education grant award of US$10,000 to educate nurses about pain management for year 2014-2015.
