Coca-Cola Partners with Snapdeal to Celebrate the ‘Joy of Giving Week’ Campaign

Chandigarh 03rd October:-  Coca-Cola India, a leading beverage company, today announced its association with Snapdeal, India's largest online marketplace, to celebrate 'Joy of Giving Week' campaign. As a part of this campaign, customers can go to Snapdeal Sunshine- Snapdeal's online donation platform, to donate stationery kits to underprivileged children. Coca-Cola India will match the donation amount of these kits up to a limit of INR 2, 00,000.

The campaign starts from 1st October and runs till 10th October, 2016 and the stationery kits (that include pencils, an eraser, a sharper and a ruler) will be directly delivered to partnering NGOs like Teach for India, GiveIndia, Bhumi, The Community Initiative, Care India, etc; which are actively working for education of underprivileged kids across the country. In addition, Snapdeal and Coca-Cola India will also run internal contests, where employees can register in teams and promote the campaign page to drive donations towards this cause.

Commenting on the partnership, Ishteyaque Amjad, Vice President, Public Affairs & Communication at Coca-Cola India & South West Asia said that festive season provides opportunities to reach and touch as many lives as possible. We want everyone to 'taste the feeling' of happiness and love. Giving back to the community is core to our business and it gives us an immense pleasure to associate with this initiative. It will bring a smile to the children of the schools we support through the "Support My School Campaign.

The donations through Snapdeal Sunshine in the "Joy of Giving Week" are a simpleway of saying that we believe in these aspirations.
