Chandigarh 24th August:- Glambiz, a company committed to offer some of the best trends in Fashion & Lifestyle, has brought Riwaaz - An Indo Pak Exhibition at Kisan Bhawan, Sec 35, Chandigarh. The exhibition was inaugurated by Bollywood Actor Ali Khan of 'Sarfarosh' & 'Khuda Gawah' fame & Anil Dhawan a film and TV actor & David Dhawan's Brother. The Exhibition will be on till August 28.
Amanpreet Kaur, Partner, Glambiz, said that 'Riwaaz' is a genuine effort to bring top fashion labels from Pakistan, whose fashion off late has been ruling the roost in particularly, TV serials in India. Fashionistas of Tricity & the region will get a genuine chance to savour as well as update their wardrobes by choosing from a bevy of original Pakistani fashion masterpieces, made by skilled craftsmen, manually and with great effort & care. As many as 20 Pakistani Exhibitors are taking part.
Meer Designers -- A leading Pakistani fashion label specializing in Unstitched Ladies Fabric & whose collections are also worn by Pak TV Actors & Actresses is present. Gents suitings byAlmas Textile Industries are available. Hina Creations from Karachi has displayed designer lawn, suits, qureshia work, plazo, fabroz, Durdozi and Tarkarshi Zari formal suits with lace and ribbon work. Malik Traders has brought Punjabi Suits. Zahid Boutique has Unstitched Ladies Lawn Suits which are designed in the Rawalpindi style. Hanifa Creations has unstitched Ladies Lawn Suits that bear the Abbotabad Style. Rehana Collection Center has Multani special hand-made embroidery ladies suitings.
Paras Industries which has been designing beautiful melamine crockery of Gujranwala, is here with its crockery ensembles. Javed who owns the Paras brand said that we are very happy to be here as common people in Pakistan wanted to meet Indian counterparts & develop cordial relations as well as trade with India. It is only the political powers that be, which want to thwart peace between the two neighbours. The Exhibition will give a great opportunity to both Nations to give peace a chance.
The famous Pak Onyx marble has been brought by Nadeem Enterprises Pakistan's no 1 exporter of Onyx Marble. Indus Art & Craft has got hand- made products from Karachi. Insaf & Co is dealing in Jewellery & Punjabi Juttis. There are Pakistani Dry fruits brought by Nadia's Collection.
Imran Ahmed who is coordinating the Food Court said that "Riwaaz is offering food court of Pakistani culinary delights, specially made by a Chef from Pakistan. The menu is authentic Pakistani, as the ingredients like spices etc that go into the dishes; have been brought straight from Pakistan. There's special Punjabi Veg & Non veg Food, Bar Be Q, Mutton Qurma, Chicken Biryani, Veg Biryani, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Kulfi Faluda, Dahi Bade, Gol Gappe, Kachauri etc.
Gaganpreet Kaur, Partner, Glambiz said that it is not that there is just Pakistan fashion & lifestyle at Riwaaz. For the first time in the Exhibition space of tricity, a majority of fashion designers have come from across the country. There is representation from, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Pune Nagpur among others. What's more, Aman Grewal owner of label 'Azalea' who is a former Mrs. India World 2014 is also showcasing her collection.
