Soil Health Card Scheme Emphasize By Deptt of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare

Chandigarh 27th May:- The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India is emphasizing Soil Health Card Scheme in association with the States and U.T., Governments. In alignment with this, the Department of Agriculture, U.T., Chandigarh have been launched a innovated campaign for collection of soil samples from the fields of farmers of all the village of U.T., Chandigarh to complete 100% soil testing for issuance of Soil Health Cards with the collaboration of the Department of Rural Development & Revenue Authority, UT, Chandigarh w.e.f. 23.05.2016 as per village wise programme (copy enclosed).

It is for the information of all the owners of the agriculture land of UT, Chandigarh to remain present in the village concerned as per village wise programme already available with the concerned Gram Panchayat.  For further any detail regarding soil testing and issuance of Soil Health Cards, the owner of agriculture land in UT Chandigarh may contact the Agriculture Development Officer/Supervisor of the Agriculture Department at their mobiles numbers i.e. 9988251080 of A.D.O and 9417959989 of Supervisor OR concerned Gram Panchayat.
