Government Museum and Art Gallery organizes Museum Festival

Chandigarh 20^th May:- The Government Museum and Art Gallery Chandigarh has organized Museum festival to celebrate International Museum Day. On 20^th May, 2016 the 3^rd day of the festival a clay modelling workshop facilitated by Dr. Vishal Bhatnagar, Art Resource person, Government Museum and Art Gallery was organized. The workshop was attended by 42 students from different school of the city. The children learnt to prepare clay for Sculpting and the Asian Technique of making pots sculptures through coil method. The Children also learnt about History and technical process of making terracotta articles. It was the first time experience for many children although the main emphasis was on technique medium and process, the children explored and experimented with many different shapes, forms and themes. The children had a great time having hands on experience.
