Governor Inaugurates NCC Headquarter in Sector 31

Chandigarh 01^st March:- NCC is known for unity and discipline and these values in today's world are necessary for the whole nation said Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana, Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh today at sector 31 on the occasion of inauguration of the headquarters of NCC. The headquarter situated in sector 31 monitors the working of Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh states. The total expenditure incurred in the construction of the centre is 23 crore and 61 lakh rupees.

Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki  expressed his happiness over the participation and winning of NCC banner title during the Republic Day Parade held in New Delhi this year. Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki addressed the cadets and appreciated them for the confidence that each cadet has, he also appreciated the efforts of conveying positive message through campaigns like blood donation, Anti dowry, AIDS etc.

Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki,said that such organizations give the children great confidence and be successful in life.
