Chandigarh 21st March:- Del Monte, India's leading processed food and beverage brand, known for its unique taste, product and quality, participated in Aahar 2016, the largest annual International Food and Hospitality event in India. With this, Del Monte completes 8 years of fruitful participation at Aahar.
Del Monte displayed a wide range of products ranging from imported products like gourmet pasta, olive oil, olives, fruit fillings, dried prunes and apricots, packaged fruits and vegetables to domestic products like fruit drinks, ketchup, mayo & mayo based dips, Chinese sauces, pasta sauces and other culinary sauces. Baked Beans, a new product in the canned vegetable range was also introduced during the event for the consumers.
Speaking about the brand's growth and its participation in Aahar, Yogesh Bellani, CEO, FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd said that in line with our brand vision of creating flavourful and delightful experiences, Del Monte's focus at Aahar this year was to provide innovative and interesting food solutions to cater to the constantly evolving needs of consumers, and delight them with the new product ranges. With our participation and unique product display, we were able to create more engagements for all the categories and increase touchpoints..
To bring alive the theme of- 'Creating delightful experiences', a team of professional chefs demonstrated the versatility of Del Monte products with live cooking stations. The Italian zone focused on live cooking counters demonstrating both cold and hot preparations with gourmet pasta. The 'Packaged fruits and vegetable section' was equipped with a wide array of delicacies like Fruit Cocktail bread, Fruit Cakes and Pastries, Apricot and Cranberries Custard Danish, Prunes and Apricots Foccacia etc. The 'Culinary' zone exhibited Del Monte's strength in customized condiments and emulsions such as tandoori mayo and cheesy mayo.
