SGGSC-26 Inaugurates Mission Youth for Swachh Bharat

Chandigarh 28th December:- The seven day NSS Camp opened at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh on the theme of 'Youth for Swachh Bharat'. Over 100 volunteers are participating in the Camp. The camp was inaugurated by Bikram Singh Rana, Head State NSS Cell, UT Chandigarh. S. Gurdev Singh, IAS Retd., President SES also visited the occasion and encouraged the students to further improve their Social Skills. Prof. S.S. Kang Principal of the College extended full support the Programme Officers, Prof. Amandeep Kaur and Prof. Sandeep Singh Gill for the success of the Camp. Prof. Rupinder Kaur, Prof. Sumera Kamboj, Prof. Harpreet Bali and Prof. Manveer Kaur also helped in the organization of the activities. 

The First day of the Camp observed Poster Making on the theme Cleanliness and Sanitation. Other activities of the Camp Days include a rally on the theme of 'Swachh Bharat' at Village Kaimbwala, UT Chandigarh where the Villages will be apprised about the importance of Cleanliness; Visit to Institute of Blind. The volunteers will also be imparted training in First Aid and Educated about Disaster Management.
